It's a little after 3:00am and I just woke up from having a dream. I dreamt that I was in a small pantry room and two big chocolate iced pudding filled "long john" donuts were sitting on the floor. They looked delicious but I had no idea how old they were. I took a bite out of one of them and it tasted good, but I thought that I better not eat any more of it or I might get sick. I was trying to figure out, by asking people, how old they were but nobody was sure and said that I better not eat them. That's when I woke up.
Sometimes when I get to thinking the Spirit kicks in and gives me a message. This happened to be one of those cases. That's why I decided to sit down and write this post right away.
We aren't all in the same place. We all don't have fancy houses to live in or good paying jobs or have family members around or very many friends to talk to or even feel like we're at the same spiritual level as others. Some of us might be blessed with more and some of us might have more work to do to get closer to Jesus. Possibly having these kind of blessings in the future.
But, one thing that we need to start doing is not to cut off other believers because of whatever "level" or status you think they might be in. I've been seeing this happening a lot more lately, even in my own life. You might know things that they don't. You might have things that they don't. You might be in a really good place in your life and others are going through a "Job season". We should be trying to win souls for the kingdom, not losing them or cutting them off.
The Bible says...
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. - Matthew 28:19-20
The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy. They are established for ever and ever, enacted in faithfulness and uprightness. He provided redemption for his people; he ordained his covenant forever—holy and awesome is his name. - Psalm 111:7-9
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. - Galatians 3:28
