After some reading and devotion for about an hour, it's been put heavy on me to delete all my previous posts since the beginning of this journey and start this blog fresh for the new year of 2024. I've never really been much of a talker, but more of a thinker and creator. It's most likely the way that God designed me to be. Just like He designed you to be who you are and what you like to do. Why are we like this?...
And God said, "Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness;" - Genesis 1:26
Because we are made in the image of God. Jesus was even there too in the beginning. That's why the scripture says, "Let us". We all fall short and sin no matter how hard we try not to. Lord knows that I'm far from perfect. That's why Jesus died on the cross for us. To save us from our sins and to help us live the best life we can by using the gifts that He gave us to help others and to spread the word. That's why I've been doing what I've been doing with Creative Solutions JCD the past year. I totally transformed what started as just a space/scifi/80's/90's themed only business to putting God at the top. Most of my designs and ideas are completely Christian based now from things that I've read, seen, or somehow spoken to me in some way, shape, or form.
Have I done well financially from this business? Absolutely, not! 😂 But I have met some awesome people from all over the world. I've designed things for brothers and sisters for free. I've helped through posting online, creating videos, and social media. It's made me happy and feel like I've somewhat been accomplishing my mission. It's not about the money for me. I honestly hate money and wish the world didn't revolve around it, but we all know that you have to make some money to survive in this place. By the grace of God, somehow, I've lasted this long without barely selling or making anything. But, I'm still going with this for as long as it allows me to. I'm not giving up and I don't want this to become some sob story either. Why, you might ask? Why not just give up? (a couple reasons)...
"Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10
and
"and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts - to make artistic designs for work... - Exodus 35:31-32a
I believe that it's my purpose, in this point in time, to keep using the gifts/talents that I have to the best of my ability and not fear whether this thing is working how the world wants it to or not. So, it may look or appear to people like this is some big business or that huge amounts of money must be flowing in, but that's far from the truth. I'm just good at what I do because it's what I'm suppose to be doing. I mean, I was creating pixelized newspapers as a kid on a yellow box monitor back when my grandma first got a computer at their house. That has to mean something, right? 😂
I hope whoever reads this or visits this website gets some enjoyment out of what I've created. Maybe even perhaps buys a print or t-shirt that their eye is drawn to. 😉
